What is the purpose of NUP, as we have many networking meeting already?

NUP has recognised this and see that the multiple networks could be better mobilised to gain momentum for the city, helping more of the similar minds connect and those in similar area connect.

Our Story

This site has been 5 years in the making. Shaped through conversations highlighted by the needs and desires from the leaders working across the city. Some momentum was gained through iterations such as: email chains, directories, forums and events, yet those little gains didn’t truly address the question in ‘How do we work better together?’.

As experts in our field with strengths and weaknesses. There are many natural concerns when collaborating. Understanding organisations have their own mission, passions and vision. Being able to merge these are important to move forwards and explore how we to rely upon each other skills..

The NUP contributes to the city and its' citizens in providing a infrastructure of unity. NUP focuses on the ways communities are able to work together, providing a tool for all to engage and connect.

Connecting the social fabric to encourage communities to access the resources within the rich community that already exists, all to improve the lives of people of Nottingham.
