At Positively Empowered Kids CIC, we believe that every young person holds the power to shape a brighter, healthier future—for themselves and their communities. We are a passionate, values-driven social enterprise dedicated to empowering children and young people to become confident, resilient, and active changemakers.

Through creative, youth-led programmes focused on mental wellbeing, leadership, and social action, we amplify young voices and give them the tools, space, and support to be heard, take ownership of their futures, and make a real difference. Whether it’s through youth leadership training, volunteering, wellbeing workshops, or community engagement projects, we place young people at the heart of the change they want to see.

A highlight of our work is the annual Positively Empowered Kids Festival at Nottingham Castle—a vibrant, inclusive event that brings together local services, youth organisations, and wellbeing practitioners to connect with families. The festival is a powerful platform for mental health prevention, giving children and young people the opportunity to discover their own unique path to building resilience, confidence, and wellbeing in an uplifting, community-driven environment.
