Green's Windmill Trust

We are a Queen’s Award-winning charity located in Sneinton, Nottingham, operating Green’s Windmill, a Grade II listed 19th Century tower mill. In 2012 we became a registered charity to continue operations at the mill when it was faced with closure by Nottingham City Council. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities for the local community and visitors of all backgrounds whilst promoting George Green’s scientific reputation and preserving the UK’s milling heritage. Around 20,000 people visit our free-entry site annually, including the flour mill, interactive science centre and community garden.
